During drought periods, small watercourses are particularly vulnerable. On the Armançon watershed, they represent over 1,100 km of waterway and experience significant flow variations, sometimes drying up completely. Highly sensitive to climate change effects, these watercourses remain understudied. The citizen science initiative 'En Quête d'Eau' aims to increase observations in the field to better understand where, when, and how often water flow interrupts.
