I participate in sewing workshops to combat period poverty

Mission description

Combat period poverty by enabling vulnerable youth aged 16-30 to access durable menstrual protection they make themselves in solidarity sewing workshops. The project primarily benefits young women from priority neighborhoods, social structures, or exile situations in Lyon and with partners in Lomé, Togo. As a volunteer, support workshops in a caring, inclusive environment. Tasks include welcoming participants, helping set up materials, supporting production of reusable protection (no sewing expertise needed), and logistical support.
