I become a mentor for a young person in difficulty

Mission description

We seek volunteers to support schoolchildren and young adults (elementary through high school or vocational programs) whose families cannot provide direct help or tutoring. You work with one young person for one hour per week at their home with a family member present. An association co-volunteer supports you throughout your engagement in initial contact, relationship building, and ongoing mentoring. You join a dynamic volunteer network with access to resources including volunteer meetings, afterwork gatherings, training, and tools from our national organization.
