The National Gendarmerie Cadets is a civic youth program promoting civic engagement, republican values, and discovery of gendarmerie missions and careers. Prerequisites: ages 16-18 maximum, residence in the department, availability during activities. Objectives include: promoting civic sense and republican values among youth, introducing the gendarmerie, its missions and careers, strengthening youth-gendarmerie connections, and leading collective projects serving the general interest in varied domains.
