I join a volunteer workcamp for rural heritage restoration and social connection at Fort de Mareugheol!

Mission description

Arcade is seeking young people aged 18-30 to participate as volunteers in heritage restoration workcamps for a week between June and October, mobilizing youth around rural heritage. Two activities on-site: manual work restoring the site (masonry, carpentry, moving, clearing, etc.) supervised by professionals or local volunteers, and social connection activities with local residents (visiting elderly people in care homes, shared meals, theater performances for residents, etc.). Fort de Mareugheol, dating from the second half of the 14th century, is a defensive fort with significant historical importance.
