I help keep African languages alive on social media
Lingo SafariMission description
Lingo Safari works to preserve and transmit African languages. Many African languages are no longer being passed on to younger generations. In diaspora communities and across Africa, many families wish to learn, preserve, or promote their language and culture. Lingo Safari develops initiatives to facilitate learning and transmission of African languages through a platform connecting learners with native speakers. Our goals are to: • promote African languages • facilitate their learning • build bridges between African communities and the diaspora • enable native speakers to share their language and culture
