MELISSAMission description
MELISSA organizes solidarity transportation to medical and paramedical appointments for elderly people when no other suitable solution is available. It complements existing services without replacing ambulances or official transport. The volunteer uses their personal vehicle to provide door-to-door accompaniment: from home to vehicle, to the appointment location, during waiting time, possibly to a pharmacy after the consultation, and back home.
