Mission description

Mission overview: Objective: A DDEN in every school in the CHÂTEAU NEUF LES MARTIGUES district. A brief history: The history of DDENs (National Education Department Delegates) is linked to that of public schools. The predecessor of our role can be traced to the 1793 Convention. Many laws have established and evolved our official function, such as the GUIZOT laws (1833), FALLOUX (1850), and GOBLET (1886). These laws and decrees, which also chronicle the history of schools, were consolidated into the Education Code in 2000. Our legitimacy is rooted in promoting public education and respecting the constitutional principle of secularism. Today, any French citizen over 25 years old can become a DDEN.
