Based in Sens, Yonne-Quebec is a member of the France-Quebec Federation / Francophonie, and has been working since 2019 to promote and foster appreciation for Quebec in the Yonne region. To achieve this, we offer activities from our federation such as: - France-Quebec Literary Prize, which for 30 years has annually awarded a Quebec novel (a readers' prize). - Adult and school Francophone dictation competitions. - Celebration of Saint-Jean Baptiste at the end of June (Quebec's national holiday). - Inter-municipality program. - Slam poetry competition. - Concerts by Quebec artists. - Film tour, screening of Quebec films and/or documentaries. - Culinary trophies. - Summer work programs for young Quebecers, grape harvest programs, and heritage projects. - Quebec product stands at the Sens, Cerisiers, and Joigny fair and Christmas market, and wherever we wish to promote ourselves. - Global project between the Yonne and Bas-Saint-Laurent in Quebec. - Conferences on Francophonie, the French language, and Quebec.
