Incarceration disrupts life trajectories, isolates individuals, and leads to a loss of autonomy. There is a difference between leaving prison and truly moving forward, and this observation led to the founding of Wake up Café in 2014. Wake up Café is an association that supports people with experience of incarceration toward sustainable reintegration without reoffending. Our work is based on weekday reception from 9am to 5pm, in a structured environment that combines compassion with accountability. Our support focuses on: - administrative and employment-related procedures - personal reconstruction through self-knowledge, understanding others, and awareness of one's environment Through an engaged community, we offer personalized support within a collective framework of mutual aid. We are looking for dynamic, positive individuals motivated to cultivate this spirit of service, in order to continue pursuing our objectives.
