Wake up Café

Founded in 2014, Wake up Café is an association that supports motivated incarcerated individuals on their path toward sustainable reintegration without reoffending. It offers full-time programs aimed at the complete rehabilitation of the person, tailored individual support both inside and outside prison, and a mutual aid community, which is essential for combating reoffending and isolation. These programs focus on employment and personal reconstruction. Volunteering at Wake up Café begins with spending individual time with a team member to get to know each other and imagine together what we could develop and bring to life within the association. Once you become a volunteer, you will be able to lead group workshops, participate in our monthly dinners, and take training sessions on the prison environment. We will also set aside individual time to ensure that you experience your presence in the community with joy and ease.
