Fifty years ago, 4 young people severely affected by myopathy decided to escape institutional life to live freely. Thus Vivre Debout was born! Their dreams, their courage, and their struggles continue to enable many other disabled people to live independently in their own homes today. We work to ensure that every adult, regardless of their physical disability, can live as they wish: manage their daily life according to their own choices, go out and have fun like anyone else, and why not even perform on stage or travel with complete autonomy?
