Key figures for Living as Before: • 10,000 women met annually • 100 volunteers • A national presence in 40 cities in France • Presence in 70 hospitals and clinics • Over 40 years of existence Characteristics: - Association under the 1901 law recognized as being in the public interest (authorized to issue tax receipts) - Accredited by the Ministry of Health to represent users in healthcare facilities - Partnership agreements signed with hospitals to meet patients in breast surgery, oncology, and radiotherapy departments Concrete actions: Providing emotional and individual support to women at every stage of their care journey: from diagnosis, during and after treatments, and even long afterward. • Individual visits or phone contact during hospitalization, after breast surgery (mastectomy), during chemotherapy treatment, during follow-up consultations….
