Utopia 56 - Paris

Utopia 56 is a civic mobilization association that provides unconditional aid to exiled persons and homeless people without distinction of legal status, through 8 branches across France. The association is funded half by individual donations and half by donations from other associations, companies and foundations subject to an ethical charter. Utopia 56 does not accept or receive money from the State. At Utopia 56 Paris, caught in complex and overwhelming administrative procedures, hundreds of exiled people are currently homeless in Paris and the Île-de-France region. We provide emergency assistance through numerous programs. We operate 7 days a week with volunteer teams to carry out information and guidance outreach, material and food distribution outreach, social, medical and legal follow-ups and support, emergency shelter through a network of solidarity hosts for the most vulnerable (single women and families), as well as long-term accommodation for young people challenging minority status alongside Médecins Sans Frontières France through our Accueillons program, and with the help of local partners.
