Université Populaire du Niortais

Share to better understand, understand to better act. The UPN is much more than a learning space: it is an invitation to share knowledge and cultivate critical thinking. An accredited Popular Education association, open to all and for everyone, characterized by the free provision of all activities, the dissemination of knowledge through local expertise and actions across the entire Niort region. The values that guide us: The conviction that every person can access culture in a spirit of political, religious and philosophical independence. The dissemination of knowledge – theoretical and/or practical – and the provision of elements for reflection that will enable each person, regardless of age or situation, individually or collectively, to enhance their knowledge and develop their critical thinking and civic awareness. The adoption of an educational approach aimed at the emancipation of individuals according to the principles of Popular Education. Social connection as a source of wealth to transcend cultural and identity divides and rediscover times and places for exchange.
