The association was created to enable refugees and asylum seekers to access higher education in France. They face numerous obstacles (language barriers, difficulties with orientation, complex administrative procedures) that prevent them from pursuing their studies in their host country, despite their motivation. Through a comprehensive support program, UniR addresses the different needs of each person to remove these barriers, taking into account their experiences and specific circumstances, through: A personalized support program for returning to studies, including individual appointments; FLE 2.0, an innovative French language course program, with 300 learners per year; Intercultur'elles, a mentoring and support program aimed at refugee women to promote their professional integration; professional guidance workshops (soft skills, CV preparation, cover letters, job interviews, etc.); link-building activities (conversation workshops, art therapy, discussion groups, cultural outings, etc.); research, awareness-raising and advocacy initiatives to promote better integration of refugees and asylum seekers in France.
