The association's purpose is to promote civic values among French and foreign young people aged 16 to 29 living in Maine-et-Loire within 100 kilometers of the association's headquarters; to prepare members for cadet positions and introduce them to the gendarmerie, police, and armed forces, their values, missions, and personnel; to welcome young people who have completed Phase 1 of the Universal National Service (SNU) and wish to undertake Phase 2, known as the "public interest mission"; to welcome young people who have not participated in the SNU but wish to discover this public interest mission; to strengthen the Army-Nation bond following the suspension of national service; to develop civic spirit through collective projects in the fields of environmental protection, sports activities, solidarity, respect for differences, and openness to others; to provide opportunities to young people from disadvantaged or difficult backgrounds to offer them genuine prospects for social integration and advancement; to pool resources and means to achieve these goals; to involve youth in public interest missions.
