Animal Welfare Union (AWU) The Animal Welfare Union (AWU) is an animal protection organization committed to rescuing, sheltering, and supporting abandoned, mistreated, or severely distressed animals. We intervene to provide care, rebuild confidence, and create a safe environment for animals awaiting adoption. To carry out our work effectively, we are seeking volunteer foster families willing to open their homes temporarily to dogs and cats while they recover, socialize, or find permanent families. Fostering means offering a warm environment, patience, and attention to animals who have often experienced instability. AWU supports each foster family with guidance, advice, and follow-up throughout their mission.
