The French Committee of UNICEF, known as UNICEF France, was created in 1964 with the ambition of defending the rights of children in France and around the world. Since then, on our territory, all the actions we carry out, with our national committees, aim to represent UNICEF's mandate in France: - Promote children's rights by working with public authorities; - Offer young people the opportunity to participate in public debate and make their voices heard; - Raise awareness among local communities, schools, and children; - Create events to collect donations to support our actions. It is with the objective of promoting the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, signed by 195 States in 1989, including France, that UNICEF operates on this territory.
