The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) is an agency of the United Nations present in more than 190 countries. It works in the areas of health, nutrition, education, and child protection. There is a UNICEF committee in each department in France. In France, UNICEF works to protect children, raise awareness among the population about children's rights and the UNCRC (UN Convention on the Rights of the Child), and collaborates with institutions to improve the quality of life of children on French soil.
