The association aims to pursue before public authorities and various organizations the defense of the material and moral interests of people with mental disabilities (children and adults) and their families, with a view to promoting their full development and social integration. To provide moral and material support to these families grouped in associations and sections, to the extent of its capabilities, and to develop among them a spirit of mutual aid and solidarity. To assist people with disabilities and their families through information and advice. To help promote itself and implement everything that might be necessary for the best physical, intellectual and moral development of people with mental disabilities: creation and management of appropriate facilities aimed at education, vocational training, social integration, accommodation, organization of leisure activities, etc. To create common services made available to member associations and sections, as well as establishments.
