UEDP ('A Child Has Godparents') is a local mentorship association founded in 1997 and historically based in Toulouse and its region, but whose activities now extend throughout Haute-Garonne and Ariège. Our association has developed around two main activities: - Local mentorship - Animation and development of the family network Mentorship is a relationship of trust with an adult or family that develops over time through shared moments together. This form of solidarity contributes to the child's development, prevents relationship breakdowns and family isolation. Based on volunteering, it also promotes intergenerational transmission and exchanges. Mentorship is at the heart of our action and the reason for our association's existence. UEDP acts as a third party in setting up mentorships, supports the realization of this project and validates its dynamics. Each mentorship is unique. Thus the form the mentorship will take depends on: - The age and expectations of the child, - The availability of the mentoring family and the mentored child - The distance between the homes of the two families - And above all on the wishes of each person, the child and their family, the godparents and…
