Local sponsorship, led by UDAF 83, offers children the opportunity to build a lasting emotional relationship with a volunteer adult: a mentor or godparent. This relationship develops and strengthens through regular meetings. The mentor and sponsored child share leisure activities, outings, and experiences based on each person's abilities and interests. This relationship is built on consistency and duration, providing the child with solid landmarks to help them grow and open up to the world. Together, they create a sponsorship that suits them and a lasting bond of trust.
