The THALIE association — recognized as serving the public interest — was established in 1995 by individuals from diverse backgrounds, committed to supporting isolated parents and helping them integrate into society through a solidarity-based approach toward people in difficulty, by promoting the values of sharing, exchange, and mutual respect. It comprises several structures: maternal centers in departments 94 and 91, childcare facilities, a family meeting and parenting space, a mentoring program office, a training center, supervised visitation apartments, and relay family services. Exchanges between employees and volunteers are guided by co-education values that closely address the needs of the families supported and help rebuild social connections to combat isolation.
