TANDEM REFUGIES

Tandem Réfugiés provides individual support to refugee people with residence permits in France as they integrate into society. The association operates at a human scale. We have around sixty active volunteers in the Paris region supporting nearly 80 refugees in 2025. Each refugee is accompanied by a volunteer for 2 years at Tandem. Through their journey with the association, they gain access to training, employment, housing, healthcare and find a community that helps them overcome isolation and integrate better into French society. An initial five-module training program enables each volunteer mentor to carry out their mission comfortably. A weekly meeting (outside school holidays) brings together questions that arise regarding refugee integration. Everyone benefits from the expertise of other team members. All knowledge and resources are shared on a secure online platform that each person contributes to. Contact us to learn more!
