Talents grand Paris (TGP) supports young secondary school graduates from the Ile de France region who come from modest backgrounds and have successfully obtained their baccalauréat with honors, guiding them through higher education and professional integration. Because while young people are well-supported until the baccalauréat, everything becomes more complicated afterwards: the multiplicity of educational paths, their complexity, the absence of close contacts to offer advice, the difficulty of acquiring the "codes" that prevail in a different social environment, the lack of money to get equipped, find housing, access documentation, afford food, and travel—all of this increases the risks of failure, which would be a waste. For them and for society. In response to this, the association aims to provide what they lack and support them in every way possible. Why become a volunteer? Because "if I succeeded, I can help others succeed"
