Super Mamans is a network of volunteers ready to give new mothers a helping hand after childbirth. The concept: A gift mom brings a homemade meal to a mom in need of care. It's possible to complement this meal with quality time together, a walk, or even a bit of housecleaning in the home if the mom needs it. A gift mom? She's a woman who is a mother or not, a grandmother, ready to give her time to support a young mother. Kindness, listening, and sharing are the key values of a gift mom. A mom in need of care? She's a pregnant woman or a new mother within the last 6 months, ready to open her door to receive meals brought by gift moms. All completely free, in exchange for a thank you and perhaps a cup of tea. We all have moms in need of care around us: a friend, a sister, or even a neighbor!
