Sporting Athletics Club of Fontenay (SAF) is the athletics club of Fontenay-le-Comte, located in Vendée, at the municipal stadium of Fontenay-le-Comte. The club is a key player in local athletics, offering training and competition opportunities for athletes of all ages and levels. Whether for young people, adults, or masters competitors, SAF places particular emphasis on initiation, progression, and performance. It comprises three sections: competitive athletics, health (Nordic walking and return to activity), and running. The club offers a wide range of disciplines, covering both track events (sprints, middle distance, long distance, hurdles) and technical events (jumps, throws, race walking) to meet the needs of the club's 360 licensed members for the 2025/2026 season.
