Soutien Personnalisé Contre l'Echec Scolaire (SPES)

Founded in Lyon in 1991, SPES Educational Support is an independent non-profit association. For over 30 years, SPES Educational Support has worked to give all young people the opportunity to develop their abilities and talents in their educational journey, drawing on the skills of its volunteer members and partners. To fulfill this objective, the association has set itself the following missions: - Build confidence in young people about their abilities and potential - Make them more autonomous in their educational journey - Promote their socio-cultural development - Foster connections with young people, their families, and their educational and cultural environment We primarily serve children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 who are experiencing academic difficulties, come from disadvantaged neighborhoods, or are in facilities under child welfare services.
