SOS Familles Emmaüs in Nantes is seeking volunteers to expand its team (made up of wonderful members!) and support vulnerable individuals facing debt difficulties. Currently, 9 volunteers assist over a hundred families in precarious situations. Welcome, attentive listening, support, personalized approach, budgetary advice, negotiation with creditors—everything is put in place so that each person in difficulty finds appropriate solutions. Families are seen by appointment only, generally on Thursday afternoons on a rotating basis, and with 2 volunteers per session. Our organization is opening a branch in Châteaubriant to extend its reach.
