Solidarités Nouvelles pour le Logement Yvelines

Solidarités Nouvelles pour le Logement (SNL) brings together citizens who are committed locally to fighting housing deprivation. Organized at city level in Local Solidarity Groups (GLS), volunteers raise funds and search for housing. They then offer this housing, at adapted rental rates, to people in situations of severe precarity. Volunteers welcome tenants in the local group and support them for as long as necessary to help them access sustainable housing. They challenge their environment on community living and the issue of housing deprivation. SNL Yvelines currently manages 143 transitional insertion housing units and is run by 14 employees and over 330 volunteers organized in 20 Local Solidarity Groups.
