Solidarité Bouchons 31

Solidarité Bouchons 31 is a non-profit association recognized as serving the public interest. It collects all types of plastic and cork caps and lids. It operates exclusively with volunteers. The money raised through the sale of these caps is donated to benefit people with disabilities in Haute-Garonne, to improve their daily life and independence (support for adapted sports associations, purchase of specialized equipment, home furnishings, sponsorship of guide dogs for the blind, etc.). The collected caps are sent by the association to a plastics manufacturer who transforms them into new plastic material that can be used to produce multiple objects (horticultural trays, waste bins, tubes for construction and public works, pallets, etc.). In this way, this solidarity initiative also contributes to environmental protection by giving value to non-biodegradable waste.
