Société Protectrice des Animaux du 47 - SPA 47

The SPA of 47 is a 1901 non-profit association created in 1994, independent of any federation (in no way affiliated with the national SPA) and therefore operates solely on its own funds. We operate throughout the Lot-et-Garonne department as well as in neighboring departments. Our areas of action include: - Welcoming abandoned companion animals (dogs and cats) voluntarily surrendered by their owners or from local shelters - Responsible placement of our residents with new families - Handling reports of animal abuse The shelter team consists of 5 employees and approximately twenty regular volunteers. The members of the board are volunteers. We are always looking for people willing to get involved in this field to provide support to all these distressed animals. You will work in a pleasant setting (at the edge of the Landes forest) with multiple walking trails and you will be supported by a young and dynamic team.
