SECOURS CATHOLIQUE - Délégation de Savoie

At Catholic Relief - Caritas of Savoy, over 380 volunteers and 5.5 paid staff work against poverty and in favour of solidarity in the department. Our mission is first and foremost a mission of welcoming and supporting anyone in moral or material difficulty, regardless of origin, nationality, religion… Welcome and support people in situations of poverty. Listen to them, guide them, help them, by seeking lasting solutions with them to return to autonomy. Develop solidarity by creating spaces for encounter and conviviality, cafés, solidarity groceries, resource centres, digital access points… Challenge public authorities, in partnership with other associations, to act on the causes of poverty. We believe in social justice as a means of respecting human dignity and call on everyone to awaken to solidarity by joining us. We want to contribute to building a just and fraternal world, enriching itself through cultural differences and each person's spiritual journey.
