Scouts and Guides of France aims to develop active citizens who are happy and peacemakers. They rely on a pedagogy centered on play, projects, teamwork, and life in nature. They thus offer young girls and boys a living space that meets their need to dream, to take action, to succeed in their projects, to live in community, and to give meaning to their lives. The Scouts and Guides of France association is an organization for popular education recognized as serving the public interest, with 96,000 members including 29,000 volunteers and 140 employees in France. Open to all and recognized as serving the public interest, the association is accredited for Youth and Popular Education by the Ministry responsible for youth. The Minimes group brings the association's values and commitments to life locally for young people in the north of Toulouse.
