Hello, we are a Scouts and Guides of France (SGDF) group in the western suburbs of Lyon. Our group is expanding rapidly and we are looking for new volunteers (leaders and assistant leaders) to support our dedicated team and introduce young people aged 8 to 17 to scouting. They are organized into three units corresponding to three age groups: 8-10 years old, 11-13 years old, and 14-17 years old. You're interested but don't know anything about scouting? No problem—your teammates will teach you the basics very quickly. If you already have your BAFA certification, that's great, and if not, SGDF will support you through the training program (with the possibility of completing the training course during summer camp). Required conditions: mandatory SGDF membership, must be over 17 years old (no upper age limit!). Desired but not required condition: driving license. What really matters most is: enjoying group life, nature, working with young people, sleeping under the stars, enjoying campfire evenings, loving games...and being motivated to lead activities!
