St Marcel Basket, founded in 1964, is an emblematic basketball club in the 11th district of Marseille. With 60 years of existence, it is one of the oldest clubs in the Marseille area. With a tradition rooted in promoting social diversity and social integration, the club provides a structured framework and instills essential values for the future lives of its members, beyond basketball practice. We strive to strengthen social bonds within our neighborhood through events organized in partnership with other local associations. Our core values include enjoyment, commitment, solidarity, and respect. Our club plays a crucial role in neighborhood life, fostering social diversity with 24.4% of our 271 members coming from the city's priority neighborhoods (QPV). We firmly believe that sport is a vehicle for social integration, and we are committed to providing opportunities for all young people.
