The Valognes Rugby Club (RCV) is far more than just a sports club: it is a genuine rugby family established in the heart of the Cotentin region, in the town of Valognes. Since its creation, the club has made it its mission to promote rugby values: respect, solidarity, commitment and conviviality. The RCV advocates an inclusive vision of rugby through openness to all audiences (children, adults, women, people with disabilities), school partnerships, the development of rugby sevens (Touch Rugby) and civic initiatives (beach cleanups, remembrance activities). The RCV has 170 members, 11 coaches and 11 administrators. It operates a rugby academy that has been certified since 2020.
