Since its creation by Coluche in 1985, the Restaurants du Cœur association has volunteered to fight poverty and exclusion in all its forms. The fundamental values of the Restos (unconditional welcome, free services, association independence, fight against food waste) are reflected in Gironde through various food distribution actions, personal assistance, our job insertion programs and our accommodation facility. The Departmental Association of Restaurants du Cœur of Gironde welcomes and supports more than 39,000 people thanks to a wide mutual aid network comprising 40 activity centers including 1 baby center, 3 mobile centers, 3 street outreach activities, 1 mobile personal assistance bus, 2 job insertion programs and this thanks to our 1,500 volunteers.
