Régie de quartiers de Vendôme

Vendôme District Management, a non-profit association under the French law of 1901, is a social and solidarity economy actor that operates three Insertion Workshops and Work Sites: a textile, objects and furniture resale shop sourced from our collection, a Cleaning service and a Green Spaces service. The District Management oversees Vendôme's resource centre. We recover all sorts of objects: furniture, clothing, collectibles, dishes, bicycles, electrical and electronic equipment, games, toys, books, and more. The collected objects are sorted, cleaned, repaired or transformed to give them a second life. Most reusable items are resold at low prices in our Frip'art shop (a social and solidarity commerce store located at 52 rue de Courtiras in Vendôme) or through our online store via the Label Emmaüs marketplace (an activist e-shop for solidarity and reuse). Surplus items are donated to other cultural or social associations or to artists in the region to support their creations. Unusable objects are dismantled to be recovered as raw materials.
