For 30 years, the Raid Aventure Organisation association has been working to strengthen police-community relations, particularly with young people, through various programs led by over 300 police officers from all internal security forces: national police, municipal police, gendarmerie, and firefighters. They work with young people to raise awareness about their profession, explain arrest procedures and techniques, and discuss and ease tensions. Through the Prox' program, the association facilitates genuine encounters between young people and police officers via sports and civic days at the heart of neighborhoods, organized throughout French territory. The goals of the association's police officers and its president Bruno Pomart are ambitious: to promote dialogue, citizenship, and republican values through recreational, sports, and civic activities. They work in partnership with prefectures, cities, associations, committed local actors, and local police.
