Pour un Sourire d'Enfant - PSE

For 30 years, Pour un Sourire d'Enfant (PSE) has been working in Cambodia with some of the poorest children, forced to work in harsh and dangerous conditions. Every day, 7,000 children receive support: they are fed, cared for, protected, and educated, and nearly 1,500 of them benefit from recognized vocational training. To date, 7,000 other young people, "the alumni," have graduated from the programs and now have skilled and dignified employment in Cambodia. This remarkable human endeavor was brought to the screen by Xavier de Lauzanne in 2016 in his film "Les pépites." The organization is recognized as a charitable institution and received the Human Rights Prize in 2000.
