Possible supports citizens in committing to the rehabilitation of sentenced individuals through awareness-raising, training, and networking initiatives. Our prison system is at breaking point: our prisons are overcrowded (up to over 200%), costly, and ineffective at achieving lasting rehabilitation (61% recidivism rate). This situation is not improving and is even worsening due to a lack of involvement from civil society. Our mission: Alongside justice and rehabilitation professionals, to support civil society in taking concrete action for the rehabilitation and recidivism prevention of sentenced individuals, and to connect people's desire to engage with actual needs. Our actions: 1- Shift perspectives and inspire action through original events targeting notably the general public, businesses, and young people ("Justice Aperitifs and After-work Events," "Prison Breakfast," "Justice Walks," "Court Visits"). 2- Support engagement and innovation in this sector through Act'ice: the first support program for social innovations developing in the penal and prison sector (collective training, individual mentoring, experience-sharing, visibility, pilot projects).
