Pépinière du Nouveau Monde

Who are we? The Pépinière du Nouveau Monde, a collective of over one hundred actors, singers, dancers, directors, filmmakers, is a unique concept in France due to its participatory functioning and ecological commitment. A true creative hub, it embodies values of sharing and solidarity in service of large-scale artistic projects and environmental initiatives. The Pépinière was created in 2019 by Maud Buquet Kandinsky, who invented this concept of participatory ensemble. By pooling knowledge, this venue fosters the development of theatrical and audiovisual creation. It enables continuous training of a troupe of 100 artists. Within this collective, you will discover lighting designers from the Comédie Française, set designers from the Paris National Opera, singers from the Opéra Bastille, singing or dancing actors, performers graduated from national schools, and even academician actors from the Comédie Française. This effervescent and eclectic mix contributes to the charm of the Pépinière du Nouveau Monde.
