Visits aboard merchant ships calling at the terminals in Nantes and upstream locations of the Grand Port Maritime Nantes Saint-Nazaire. Purpose: to ensure minimum well-being for seafarers during their stopover. Transportation by minibus to shops and city centers in the metropolitan area, currency exchange and money transfers, information and discovery of nearby tourist sites. Welcome at the center (Seamen's club of Nantes) for moments of relaxation, socializing and friendly exchange with volunteers. Information about the port, transport and city, as well as leisure activities and tourism opportunities in the municipalities bordering the Grand Port. All activities are carried out entirely by volunteers capable of communicating primarily in English. 50 nationalities encountered: Russia, Ukraine, Philippines, Turkey, Romania, Poland, Baltic countries, India, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar.
