MonSenior is a Solidarity Enterprise of Social Utility (ESUS, with limited profitability) founded in 2019 that builds and manages small-scale homes designed to provide a warm and secure living environment for elderly people. As an alternative to aging in place, we create and manage homes (fully accessible to people with reduced mobility, certified with High Health Safety label - HS2) in which a care assistant and their family (spouse and child) move in together with three elderly people. Support for independence, coordination of care, and organization of social activities are provided within the warm environment of a lively home. This arrangement, called a "family care home," requires authorization granted by departmental councils. Our areas of intervention include: discharge from hospitalization, social isolation, unsuitable housing, loss of physical independence, fall risk, shortage of care workers, or as an alternative to nursing homes.
