Rooted in the rich associative fabric of Goutte d'Or where it was founded in 2021, MIMA Mains d'Ici Mains d'Ailleurs is also present in the Blémont housing estate, two very different working-class neighborhoods in Paris's 18th arrondissement. Its motto? "Pass the massage to your neighbor"! That is, to develop Therapeutic Touch as a vector for social connection and inclusion among residents exposed to various social and health risks. It therefore reaches out to them by offering massages in public spaces and brings them together through workshops (massages, support groups, etc.). MIMA currently consists of a team of 3 massage therapists and 4 permanent volunteers—all that's missing is you… for a while or for good!
