We are an NGO that for over 20 years has been committed to combating child malnutrition, primarily in Africa. Our work is built around Nutrition Houses, welcoming spaces for children and parents to: 1. Provide care (through meals enriched with spirulina) - 2. Educate (to address root causes) - 3. Empower (for lasting impact). Our small team (15 regularly active people) is primarily volunteer-run (except in our intervention countries) and is supported by program coordinators in each country, along with people providing support for digital communication, event organization, fundraising, health data analysis, nutrition, and spirulina production. Our current intervention countries are Togo, Benin, Madagascar, Mali, and Niger, and we operate day-to-day remotely with program coordinators conducting fieldwork missions. According to our volunteers, we are small but well-structured, efficient, and frugal, with donor funds being directed primarily to supporting the people we serve.
