The Maison de la Vie Citoyenne Bayonne Centre-Ville is an association approved as a Social Centre by the Bayonne Family Allowance Fund and affiliated with the Federation of Social Centres. Its organizational project is grounded in principles of Popular Education. Its main funders are the CAF, the City of Bayonne, and the CD64. The MVC Bayonne Centre Ville welcomes people from birth to over 90 years old. Our activities are therefore rich and varied: - Children and Youth Space: a leisure centre, a youth space (pre-teens/teenagers) - Family Space: parenting support (respite care, outings, holiday travel assistance, etc.) and educational support. - Senior Space: preventive actions against loss of autonomy, combating isolation, etc. - Overall Animation: activities promoting local life with festive moments encouraging community living and intergenerational gatherings. - Support for Association Life: over thirty associations hosted with a wide range of physical, artistic, and cultural activities.
