The National Cancer League is a 1901 law association recognized as serving the public interest, founded in 1918. It is the only association fighting on all fronts of the disease: research, prevention and information, support for patients and their families. Our federation, made up of 103 departmental committees present throughout the national territory, is apolitical and financially independent. Our missions: - Leading non-governmental funder of cancer research - Research to cure - Inform, raise awareness, prevent - Improve the quality of life of sick people and those close to them - Change mentalities toward cancer
